Denim Project - Final

This was my first pair of Denim Jeans!!! I actually really like working with denim, I thought it would be cool to experiment with zippers, like the 90's zip of pants. These jeans zip off into shorts or capris, they are high waisted, and I made a crop top to match.

The crop top is made of 100% Suede... I do not recommend working with suede unless you have a machine with the strength to go through the thickness. I stabbed myself many a time while sewing in the lining (which I had to do by hand). Also, since it was so thick and my machine wasn't quite strong enough, I had to use rubber cement and glue down all finishings and hand sew in everything, zipper included. It was great experience to work with this fabric, and I'll probably work with it some more just to get a better grip on it. I really like the pattern for the crop top so I will be remaking it in a different fabric to fit me most likely.
